The Fifth Final F***ing Last Post

Hi everyone, this shall be my last entry on this blog as my assignment is due in two days so I have no need for this blog anymore. Notice the use of alliteration in the title of this entry. From this you should be able to tell that I am an Arts student through and through, even though I am not in Writing Program. Without further ado, let me update you on all the interesting things that went on in your truly's life since the last update.

So on Sunday I went to School of Computing again to study. I have been in a boys' school before and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, which might explain why I need going back to SoC. I feel at home there. With the unlimited number of powerpoints, houseflies and cool air, I urge FASS to provide the same facilities.

On the same day I also discovered that my friend assumed that some harmless looking Deepavali decorations in Engine's canteen can actually have the effect of scaring birds. I condemned her for her racism and the ISD came shortly before this matter got out of hand.

On Monday we had our last kendo training of the semester! Boohoo... Such a sad event. My last chance to see my aibo before god knows when. But it was quite a fruitful training because not many turned up (some had to help others with their personal problems) so we got a lot of personal coaching. Screwing up other's fumikomi was fun, though the monkey beside me started to screw mine up as well. But Man must always triumph over animals. It was nice to see two doctors laughing at me even before I did anything during pair practice. I felt that I have finally found my calling in life.

On Tuesday, I had my last HY1101E lecture! Such a sad event as well. I have seriously considered minoring in History just for Dr DiMoia and Dr Emmanuel and my tutor if he will still be here (though he gave me a B+ for my essay because I didn't have enough footnotes). I always had an interest to read up about historical stuff but it's the first time I realized that History lectures could actually be fun. Thank you loads John, Mark, BinBin for such an enjoyable time.

On Wednesday, just before I typed this, I had my Clean Energy and Storage Test! It was like OH MY FREAKING GOD. The first question like killed half of whatever brain cells I had, the rest of the test helped me to achieve negative brain cells growth: like when you don't have enough brain cells to die, they kill your red blood cells and so on. It was the also the last time I would see Dr Nidhi. To be fair to her, I felt that she did a great job teaching a boring topic, and she was desperate to see my essay too. Such a great teacher.

And so now as I am typing this from the most secluded corner of the Central Library flanked by two girls, it is with a heavy heart that I am about to sign off. Life has been tough but it was nice to see so many of my avid fans commenting and engaging me on my blog. 天下无不散之宴席: under the heaven there is no non-disperal wedding dinner. So try to get on with your lives even though I am not here to bring fun, laughter, peace and joy to you. See you all offline.

4th Post

3rd Post

Hi everyone! I am once again typing this from the same table in the library. I have almost achieved fusion with this table. Anyway because the 3 weeks period for the assignment is almost up, so I will have to update my blog more regularly. So let's start.

Firstly, this incident took place last Friday in carpark 5. My blog posts always seem to revolve around carparks and female drivers. So I drove into the carpark 5 at about 0940 and as usual there were no lots. So I looped and looped around the carpark, looking for a lot. Just as I drove around the bend I saw an empty lot but there was already a car ahead of me. But this car came in after me (it's a bit to visualize and comprehend so just take my word for it). Because I was moving quite fast so I moved ahead of that particular car and stopped. For a moment I thought of taking the lot since technically I was the 1st car to begin waiting for a lot. The lady driver slowly inched her car forward and when she passed me she asked me if I'm taking the lot. Trying to do some good before the world ends, I gestured for her to take it instead and she thanked me. So I waited and waited. Then after about 20 mins at 1000, 3 guys came to drove their car out. This time around, there was another car with a lady driver behind me. I started reversing to where the car was coming out from, and the 3 guys pointed to the car behind. I thought they were trying to tell me to be careful not to bang the car. Then when they drove out, I reversed in but the lady driver of the car came out and spoke to me. Below is a excerpt from the convo.

She: Ehhhh why you take our lot? We were here first. The guy already pointed to us which it means it's our lot mahhhh. Why you still reverse in? Never mind there got another guy coming out liao.

Me: Oh it's your lot?

Actually I wanted to say more, but another car was coming out so I just let it pass and quickly drove away. How could I have known that the guy was pointing to you to indicate it's your lot? And why can he choose who to give the lot to? I mean, if he's your friend just say so. There's no need to blatantly lie that you were here first when I was already there for 20 minutes. If you came in before 0940 but you drove out, that's still your problem. It still meant that I was here before you. I'm fine with giving up the lot but I hate being maligned of "taking your lot when you were already here". I really wanted to go find her after I parked my car to set things straight but she was already gone. Talk about ruining a perfectly good morning.

Secondly, we ordered our bogu! Omigosh actually it's quite exciting to wear bogu and actually do some real kendo. It's damn blardy expensive so it better last me for at least 10 years. If not I'll wear it to threaten guys to give up their lots to me because I was there first.

Thirdly, it was Melissa's birthday on Friday! I wrote a poem to wish her happy birthday. For those who wish to get a glimpse of my literary talent please ask Melissa to show you the poem if she hasn't thrown it away already.

Fourthly, me and 外星人 discussed about coming to school on weekends to study. We concluded that for lunch we only have fast food and PGP's canteen. The plight of NUS students on weekends. But I think we will eventually still come and study on weekends. Home is no longer a viable option.

Fifthly I slept at 0030 last night! All this because of a stupid person who was asking me loads of questions on MSN. There's a reason why I normally appear offline. You know who you are, you evil thing. I hope you will reflect on your misdeeds and simplify your questions next time worzZ.

Sixthly, today is the last kendo training for this semester! So sad, I can't see my aibo anymore. Can't see him dance ballet or give more analogies. But exams are important too so gotta study hard during this period with the likes of 水果 and 可爱猴子 and 快熟面.

Ok I think that's all. Please leave your comments to engage me and I'll reply asap.

2nd Post

Hi everyone, this is my 2nd post on my blog! It is quite cold in the library as I'm typing this. I have been quite busy for the past week so didn't have much time to update. But a lot of interesting things happened which must be shared with all of you.

Firstly I discovered Pepper Lunch in NUS last Friday! For those who don't know, Pepper Lunch has a stall in YIH's Food Junction. The service's quite fast so you should go try it if you have the time. I had the Curry Cheese Beef Pepper Rice (upsized) which was very cheesy which is how I like it. Actually I didn't realize how cheap the food is in Food Junction. My junior bought a huge ice kachang for like $1.30.

Secondly, the McDonalds' Monopoly game is back! Ok I'm sure most of you people know this but I bet none of you know this: According to reliable sources, the $80000 has been won by someone in Ngee Ann Poly! So please just aim for the Kia Soul or something else. I'm always aiming for the apple pie or small fries. So far my instant winnings include: 2 1-for-1 tickets to the Singapore Flyer, a small green tea and a hashbrown. I think engineering's McDonalds is not a place to go if you want to win serious stuff.

Thirdly, the time has come for us junior kendokas to buy our bogu! We'll be taking our measurements tomorrow. I have been thinking of what to put for my name on the tare. So fast my best idea is "Guess who?".

Fourthly, I was quite emo after someone told me of an evil being he spotted in the library trying to lead a poor innocent soul astray and for a moment I thought that the evil being succeeded. But lightning struck twice and he failed in his second attempt to lead another person to the dark side. Nonetheless I went home and indulged in emo songs for a good hour. Let me introduced this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9ijwMElLM0. This is not an emo song per se, more like a very dark and intense song. Even if you don't understand Japanese, you should be able to feel the intensity. If you are a Kamen Rider fan and you don't know this song, then prepare to have nightmares of Ouja and Odin tonight.

Fifthly, I did something on impulse but I thought that I did the right thing, or rather what I have done wasn't a bad thing. As I was driving into carpark 15, there was this poor girl in front of me trying to park. She took quite a while and I was getting impatient but of course I didn't blare my horn at her. Then suddenly she just drove off to another lot. I drove past and I realise that this idiot driver took up 2 lots for his 1 car. Impressed by his parking skills, I left a note on his windscreen commending him for his astute control of his vehicle and hoped that all drivers in Singapore were like him/her. I didn't have time to take any picture of my wonderfully crafted note because I was rushing for lecture but I was caught in the action by a dear senior kendoka. For more information, go down to MPSH6 tomorrow at 1830 and ask the Spiderman.

Sixthly, this incident involved carpark 15 yet again. I remembered that today is the day when students from Eusoff Hall would have like a charity car wash and they were already stationed there as I drove into the carpark at like 0920? As soon as I got out of my car, this girl came to ask me if I want to have my car washed. Even though I just cleared like 3 bird poop stains on my bonnet today, I said yes, all in the name of charity. For $10 I hope they are using like some premium L'Oreal car shampoo or deionized water. I just hope that the proceeds from this car wash goes to some charitable organization and not to Eusoff Hall's activity fund or something like that.

Ok I think these are all the interesting stuff that happened to me. Stay tuned for more! I should have at least 3 more entries because that's the basic requirement. BuaizzzzZzzZZ

PS: Congrats to D _ r_e for his project being selected as 1 of the top 5 projects in his module. And to his Alienware which he uses for typing essays and Facebook-ing. Life is good.
