Hi everyone, this is my 2nd post on my blog! It is quite cold in the library as I'm typing this. I have been quite busy for the past week so didn't have much time to update. But a lot of interesting things happened which must be shared with all of you.
Firstly I discovered Pepper Lunch in NUS last Friday! For those who don't know, Pepper Lunch has a stall in YIH's Food Junction. The service's quite fast so you should go try it if you have the time. I had the Curry Cheese Beef Pepper Rice (upsized) which was very cheesy which is how I like it. Actually I didn't realize how cheap the food is in Food Junction. My junior bought a huge ice kachang for like $1.30.
Secondly, the McDonalds' Monopoly game is back! Ok I'm sure most of you people know this but I bet none of you know this: According to reliable sources, the $80000 has been won by someone in Ngee Ann Poly! So please just aim for the Kia Soul or something else. I'm always aiming for the apple pie or small fries. So far my instant winnings include: 2 1-for-1 tickets to the Singapore Flyer, a small green tea and a hashbrown. I think engineering's McDonalds is not a place to go if you want to win serious stuff.
Thirdly, the time has come for us junior kendokas to buy our bogu! We'll be taking our measurements tomorrow. I have been thinking of what to put for my name on the tare. So fast my best idea is "Guess who?".
Fourthly, I was quite emo after someone told me of an evil being he spotted in the library trying to lead a poor innocent soul astray and for a moment I thought that the evil being succeeded. But lightning struck twice and he failed in his second attempt to lead another person to the dark side. Nonetheless I went home and indulged in emo songs for a good hour. Let me introduced this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9ijwMElLM0. This is not an emo song per se, more like a very dark and intense song. Even if you don't understand Japanese, you should be able to feel the intensity. If you are a Kamen Rider fan and you don't know this song, then prepare to have nightmares of Ouja and Odin tonight.
Fifthly, I did something on impulse but I thought that I did the right thing, or rather what I have done wasn't a bad thing. As I was driving into carpark 15, there was this poor girl in front of me trying to park. She took quite a while and I was getting impatient but of course I didn't blare my horn at her. Then suddenly she just drove off to another lot. I drove past and I realise that this idiot driver took up 2 lots for his 1 car. Impressed by his parking skills, I left a note on his windscreen commending him for his astute control of his vehicle and hoped that all drivers in Singapore were like him/her. I didn't have time to take any picture of my wonderfully crafted note because I was rushing for lecture but I was caught in the action by a dear senior kendoka. For more information, go down to MPSH6 tomorrow at 1830 and ask the Spiderman.
Sixthly, this incident involved carpark 15 yet again. I remembered that today is the day when students from Eusoff Hall would have like a charity car wash and they were already stationed there as I drove into the carpark at like 0920? As soon as I got out of my car, this girl came to ask me if I want to have my car washed. Even though I just cleared like 3 bird poop stains on my bonnet today, I said yes, all in the name of charity. For $10 I hope they are using like some premium L'Oreal car shampoo or deionized water. I just hope that the proceeds from this car wash goes to some charitable organization and not to Eusoff Hall's activity fund or something like that.
Ok I think these are all the interesting stuff that happened to me. Stay tuned for more! I should have at least 3 more entries because that's the basic requirement. BuaizzzzZzzZZ
PS: Congrats to D _ r_e for his project being selected as 1 of the top 5 projects in his module. And to his Alienware which he uses for typing essays and Facebook-ing. Life is good.
